At Studio J, we prioritize technique development year-round. Our dancers receive consistent, high-level training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and other styles, ensuring they’re prepared for any competition.
Technique classes are designed to improve flexibility, strength, and overall dance ability, laying the foundation for competition success. -
Studio J’s competition team competes in 4 to 5 regional competitions each season, providing our dancers with the chance to showcase their skills in a competitive, supportive environment.
These competitions offer valuable performance experience, feedback from judges, and the opportunity to earn accolades in various dance genres. -
Our competition team takes part in a National competition each year, where dancers compete against the best from across the country.
This is an exciting culmination of their hard work and training all season, and a chance to earn national recognition in their chosen disciplines.

If you’ve joined us after the start of the competition season or feel you need a little more training before you’re ready, our Competition Team-in-Training series is perfect for you.
